The artist Benjamin Kendall presents a collection of work as a nostalgic exploration of Santa Barbara's classic haunts through nocturnes in black and white. From the relaxed elegance of Lucky’s to the rustic charm of the Tee-Off, The Place to Be takes a nostalgic walk through the places that have defined Santa Barbara's nightlife over the years. Painted with a romantic, dream like quality that blurs the line between past and present, each location feels timeless. The show frames these places not just as modern snapshots but as memories of Santa Barbara.
